Sylvester is a young professional, Obama Africa Leader, and Gender Equality Advocate with over four years of experience in project management, communications, events management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. Sylvester's mission is to empower and promote transformative leadership among girls and young women from underserved backgrounds to meet the urgent need for more African women in leadership positions.

He is passionate about creating change in his community and Sierra Leone. He is the Founder & Executive Director of the Weekes Foundation, an organization that raises awareness on sexual reproductive health and rights among girls aged 15 -19 and equips them with educational tools and information to combat the systematic problem of adolescent pregnancy in Sierra Leone. Sylvester aims to empower 300,000 women by 2030 to achieve gender equality in Freetown, Sierra Leone. He is known for his exceptional leadership skills, ability to inspire and lead teams toward success, and dedication to achieving results. His expertise in stakeholder management and communication has been instrumental in building strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, resulting in successful project outcomes.

Sylvester has consistently demonstrated his ability to manage projects, meet timelines, and exceed expectations throughout his career. He has successfully led teams on large-scale projects in NGOs, Telecommunications, and Consulting Firms. His knowledge of project management methodologies has enabled him to adapt to changing project requirements and deliver successful outcomes. Sylvester is also an excellent communicator and has been instrumental in creating effective communication strategies for organizations. He has experience creating and executing comprehensive communication plans for internal and external stakeholders, resulting in improved stakeholder engagement and increased brand recognition.
